I believe peloton is complete BS and way overpriced.
Buy a sturdy bike and use GCN videos from youtube for classes(free). My rides are hard both indoor and outdoors Peloton classes look like a PTA party so i dont get it.
Buy a sturdy bike in regards to speed and hill climbing support. Hill climbing cause issues overtime. I bought schwinn stationary bike (500+$). Monthly preventive maintenance is a must though (oil, reset pedals). Like I said, my rides are no joke so I do push the capacity limits of the bike.
The peleton app is relatively inexpensive for non owners. I am not a bike person but I use it with my regular treadmill and like it. It can be used with a regular bike. I use the strength and yoga classes too.
People who have them generally do love them though fwiw.
