I have been hitting the weights somewhat, but I want to drop first then build back up. I want to see what 245-250 looks like first.

I love this scenario. One of my good friends was seriously overweight, then he joined the army. I watched him go from very overweight, to much leaner (due to running, pushups, etc.), and then he started hitting the gym to gain muscle size. Because he's naturally big to begin with, he's got some pretty good size going on. The benefit of being a bigger guy with some extra fat on you, is that you are very hard-pressed to over-train. You can probably work out six days a week, weights and cardio, and not really crash. Me being as tall and skinny as I am, if I work out intensely three or four times a week, that's my limit. Whenever I try to do more, my body responds by shrinking and getting weaker. Sometimes I think it would be nice to have just a little more natural weight, that way I could gain muscle much easier and not have to fight for every half-pound.
Keep the progress pic thread going, I love watching real transformations
