I am trying to find at least one week free trial membership to a gym with good shower facilities. Absent that, do you have any suggestions where I can pay month to month without a long term contract? I probably only need it for a month, possibly through December but most likely just four weeks.

Are you retired and in the US? If so, check with your Medicare plan. I get free memberships at the Y and Life Time.

I've heard people in your situation use Planet Fitness for this purpose.

I don't know for certain, but I'd think that probably any gym would give you the option of paying month to month even without a long term contract. Check with all the gyms in your area and see what their membership options are.

This should have been posted in your city forum, where locals can recommend what you're looking for.

Planet Fitness, fairly bleechy, but cheap.

Ok, the workout-areas are usually fine..........the bathrooms/showers/change-areas
usually are a little rough.

Look for a hard core bodybuilding gym that takes cash for monthly payments. Here is an example - The Metroflex Gym. This is an example of a fantastic gym with no initiation fee or auto payment required bs.

One week for $20
One month for $43.20

I’d try planet fitness. Cheap like about 10 bucks a month, but there may be an initiation fee.

Thank you. I will check to see if there is one reasonably close. I know there is a 24 Hour Fitness. They offer a 5 day free trial.
