LOL. That was pretty much me up until about a month ago. I was always thin & fit without any effort, and then suddenly my metabolism changed and all of my pants felt too tight.
So in the past month I've been doing an aerobic workout 2-3x a week at home and also going on 2-3 mile walks a couple times a week. I noticed improvements after only a couple weeks. I don't like being around people and going to a gym sounds like hell to me, so I'm doing it solo.
Same here since 1964. Rarely sick, but minus a few weeks for surgeries, and minus about 1000 ski days. A ski day might be like a week of gym workouts.
I had a yardwork day yesterday. Is that sort of like a ski day?
I'm didn't have any trouble, but I am starting to realize why 80-something people do their work slowly.
Back to my steady schedule, today. But I'll have to miss next Monday. Happy New year, Everyone!

At least 5 days a week. Had to take off about a week in early December due to cold/caughing issues/not covid. Easy when you get in a routine, and not too many responsiblities.
I workout 5-6 days a week for 1 hr a day, cardio and/or lifting, and have for decades. I'd guess that adds up to 250 days of exercise a year. Exercise, working up a sweat and feeling my body work, has been and remains so important to my mental health as well as physical health.
I'm pretty hardcore. Two days a week. Plus I try to walk somewhere on most days, even if it's just adding some blocks to my every-two-days mocha trip. Aside from all that, I try to do hand weights once a week or so. And I try to do a few minutes of four-ball juggling on most days (throw two, catch two, repeat).
Thinking the past year I probably did around 145 or so. I do 3 days a week full body and have been very consistent with it. Some of the days were when I was away either on vacation or visiting family. Outside of that there were probably at most 5 days I missed.
