Im usually drained from all my workouts because of the intensity levels. Plus, Im doing a LOT of the CrossFit workouts which are all done for time which means I am pushing myself even harder to beat my previous times.
If I had to pick the one single most draining exercise, its is hands down, without a doubt the last mile on my three mile run. As soon as I reach the start of mile three, I switch into HIIT mode and do it for the entire last mile - 5 seconds full out fast-as-I-can sprint, then 10-15 seconds (depending on how I feel) slow walking, then 5 seconds full out, 10-15 seconds slow walk,..........all the way until mile three is completed.
Running 5 miles miles in this stupid wind we have been constantly getting here in Colorado. Today I ran a different route so I had less mileage against the wind.

my lifting is pretty intense, my cardio is hurting only because I hate riding the treadmill.
The weather needs to break so I can run outdoors. Running in slush, snow, ice, wind really kinda sucks.
I was wondering if there was one move that stood out and really kicked your ass.
This was just something easy I did to get back into shape that seemed to work fast for my abs and lower body. Do machine guns for 2 minutes then sprint a mile. Depending on the fitness level would depend on how many times I would repeat it till it just cant anymore. I only got up to 5...lol..ever.
Once a month I do a 12.42 (20 Km) Hike at a quick pace (about 3 hours), with a 65lb Army issue ruck sack (backpack). After I do this I am useless for the rest of the day.
Mine are the Renegade Rows currently.
This is the last week of a 6 week cycle for me so if you ask me monday I will say lunges
