A couple years ago, I had a membership to a website that helped me track my calories. My membership has lapsed, but I know there are free sites out there now. I've seen the one at WebMD, which seems pretty good, but I thought I'd see if any of you have other recommendations. I know I've seen a few posts mentioning other sites.

My main concern is calories and making sure I stay within my goals. I eat fairly healthy meals, with fruit, veggies, lean meats, etc., but am being more careful than I have been for the last few months (Halloween through Christmas). When I focus a lot on my RDAs and did I get enough folate and what about omega-3 and lycopene and all that, I start feeling overwhelmed and helpless, like there's no way I can eat (and cook for my family) varied meals that get all those things every day. I just eat healthier things and take a vitamin. I do want to make sure I am getting the right amount of calories, though.

If you have any recommendations for sites, please let me know why you like that one. Thanks!

I use FitDay, partly because it's compatible with my ancient iMac, but also because it's easy to use, easy to customize, and not cluttered with a bunch of crap I don't need.

Fit day is a good one.
Another one I saw when I started was Livestrong also.

Without a doubt www.myfitnesspal.com

web based or iphone ap both of which work great.

It's free and you can either use their recommendations, or input your own goals which is what I do.

It's the best one I have tried. Good luck!

I use Spark People and Calorie Count. Both have great things about them, I like that in Calorie Count you can type in all of your ingredients in a recipe and it will calculate all of the calories.
I like that in Spark People you can keep track of weight, food, measurments, the whole thing.

I use a nutrition tracker called OnTarget Nutrition and it's working great! It tracks all aspects of my diet, i.e., nutrition, calories, weight, and exercises. It is very easy to use and has a nice community too. http://www.ontargetnutrition.com
