Probably around 500 (with 1 hour doing the Leslie Sansone 5 mile walking challenge DVD).

Maybe 600 when I'm jogging for an hour outdoors.

Jogging then the elliptical, and then walking!! Wow! Don't get hurt!

Exercise smart, not more...is the key from preventing injuries.

I normally go jogging (when it's a little warmer outside), take long walks, do light weight training, and Pilates/Yoga.

Normally I'll do my cardio in the morning and then around 5pm (before dinner) I'll do Yoga or Pilates. I divide my workouts to 2 separate times during the day (since I'm home more often these days, in the last 3 months). So you can say I workout 2 times a day. But no more than 1 hour.

I don't like overdoing it in the morning, because it just makes me more tired. So, I do separate them to 2 separate times during the day.

It varies, but it's generally around 100. I usually jog, but I also mix in some swimming, tennis, and some pilates, and mostly about four days a week. Last week, I did it for five.

900 calories on the treadmill for 45 mins five days per week. Yeah it might sound boring but I watch what I eat and I lose weight like clockwork. I am looking to get down to around 180. I also do pushups and situps every other day. I am getting back into shape so I can follow my old 1/2 hr treadmill plan. Left column is the time period in minutes and right column is mph. The last 15 mins I keep it at 6 mph.

1 to 5: 6
5 to 10: 6.5
10 to 15: 7
15 to 25: 7.5
25: 8
26: 8.5
27: 9
28: 9.5
29: 10

Last week at the gym I burned 500 calories per 50 minutes on the elliptical. I haven't gone since Thursday night because I've been feeling very ill but I will probably do strength training tonight. I always am confused by the amount I eat during the day and how much I burn. I feel great after I work out and lose all those calories, but last week I didn't lose even a pound.

It's really frustrating! I watch what I eat, I don't eat any sweets anymore or many carbs. The only carbs I eat are brown rice if that still counts.

EVERYTHING you eat counts. Carbs are good for you, so don't completely cut them off your diet. Stick to whole grains. But it is not only about what you eat, but also how much you eat. You can still gain weight on healthy diet. Your body might take a little time to adjust to new diet, so you might not see any results for a week or two, but don't get discouraged and keep doing what you are doing.

Thanks Ladybug! I don't completely cut carbs out of my diet, just over processed foods and a lot of bakery items (that is my weakness lol). If I buy pasta I always get the whole grain kind, it tastes better to me now. I'll definitely stick with it, I certainly FEEL a lot better inside!

I really don't think in terms of calories when I'm working out. I just focus on doing the best I can and on pushing myself a little harder with each workout. The same applies to what you eat. I've found that if I just picky healthy foods (fruits, veggies, lean meat, fish, nuts), it's hard to eat too much. My appetite is satisfied long before I have too much of these foods. The exception is nuts. Those I eat sparingly cause I know it's easy to eat too much if you're not careful. Following this routine, I've managed to lose a good deal of weight and keep it off.
