It's a hell of a lot more expensive than a Model S Plaid and will be produced in much smaller numbers as it's a veritable hypercar, but if you really have that need for speed, or more accurately, acceleration as this is the fastest accelerating production car (should change the topic title), here's a pretty good review:
I learned about this company a few years ago via a guy I followed on YouTube. He went for a ride with the owner Rimac in a prior car and was just in awe. The guy I’m referring to owned a 918, and McLaren 720 when he did this. Porsche keeps buying more and more stake in the this company, up to 24% now. I also watched a drag race with this car and Ferrari’s new 900+ hp car (fastest they’ve ever built) and this thing embarrassed it over and over.
Considering that Rimac is the name of the main river in Lima, Peru and nevera means fridge in Spanish, I thought it was a Peruvian company. It turns out it's Croatian. Talk about being way off!!

Yea, it's really impressive especially the amount of thought that went into even minor components. Hyundai also has a 14% stake in the company.

True, but this car isn't just fast at top or high speeds, but also with its acceleration at all bands and has some pretty incredible handling and cornering abilities. I reckon the top speed and drifting is really more for taking it out on the track where it's less likely to see a Camry in front of it.

Either way, it's a nice car.
Yea, I thought Nevera was a funny name at first because of that, too. I'm surprised that a viable hypercar company would come out of a nation as small as Croatia. The crazy thing I've read recently is that Rimac might actually be taking a majority stake in the much more established Bugatti pretty soon.

Not happening, Porsche will eventually own Rimac, but article mentions Rimac, Bugatti, and Porsche might team up for a car…
Does this probably indicate that Rimac powertrains will be making their way into Bugattis?
Yep, and probably into Porsche’s also. Porsche needs good reasons to be buying up the company and letting them own Bugatti. I don’t know how Bugatti thinks of this though, now a young somewhat nobody owns your long prestigious high end company… I bet some people will retire.
