The gangs aren't social clubs like the Moose and the Elks. These are drug dealing gangs. They aren't in the business of making money from working in the produce section of Fred Meyers. These gangs members sell illegal drugs. Believe it or not there are people here that consume illegal drugs. So quite obviously someone has to sell the drugs. Maybe you could come up here and recruit these drug dealers to move to your more temperate climate, eh?

They are already here, and from what Harrier has read and seen, some of the DD's in Fairbanks likely originated from Harrier's drought stricken locale.

A whole city is stupid?

Wow.

Years before I came to AK, I saw a program on cable about how bad Anchorage was with gangs and violence. I never wanted to come here. But after being in Alaska for a couple of years and hearing the reality that Anchorage is just like any other major city, and areas to avoid, then I ended up coming here reluctantly for better paying jobs. The funny part is that even though Alaska can be the biggest small town, the two main people I thought I'd see here, I haven't, even after 3 1/2 years.

For those of you in need...here is the statewide gang sign guide. So if you encounter any of those gang guys and gals...you can communicate!
