Have you looked here: Explore Fairbanks, Alaska - Gateway to Denali, Interior and Arctic Alaska
There's also stuff at Denali: Winter Activities - Denali National Park & Preserve (U.S. National Park Service)

I know, right?! And it's completely pointless to take her to the TC, which is like the main hub of activity in Fox in the winter.

I actually googled vegan restaurants in Fairbanks and I got one hit for a Thai restaurant, which was about what I was expecting. Plus there was a snarky post somewhere that said "Don't go to Fairbanks if you're Vegan!" which I found amusing.

We've already had vegan/vegetarian entertainment and she just got here at midnight last night. My cousin's wife has been sick with the flu and had said told me that was going to make chicken noodle soup. I figured she was making it because she didn't feel good. Turns out she was making it because she figured my sister would eat chicken, because "who the hell doesn't eat chicken? Doesn't she mean just RED meat?! Jesus."

She ate salad and nuts for dinner. We'll do better tomorrow. lol

Museum of the North at U of A Fairbanks; I love visiting each time I've come up.
Dogsled ride (hopefully riding in a basket wouldn't be too tough on your shoulder?)
Brunch at Pikes Waterfront Lodge? So many choices maybe they'd have vegan too? (I never paid attention)

Plus all the other great stuff you and others here have mentioned. Hope you have fun!

Cool, thanks! The museum is definitely on the list, and Aliy Zirkle is a friend of the family so she's taking her dogsledding... I asked my orthopedic surgeon if I could go and I am not allowed, which sucks. Do you think brunch at Pikes or the Pump House is better? I always go to the gulch for brunch.

Love Silver Gulch for chow; went for brunch in 2013 and it wasn't a buffet-type thing, just really good meals.

I haven't been to the Pump House; I'm going to put that on my list for 2017.

Had brunch at Pikes in 2012 which was really good and 2014 which was even better. I guess it's all in what you and she like and what they offer.

I'm glad she is going dogsledding; sorry you can't go.
