Oh, let him go, then when it breaks down in Canada some one will have a sinker for fishing when he can't pay the bill.

Thank you. Most house inforation I find is on a 2 bedroom apartment for 1000 or more a month. Or a dry cabin for 600. Does anchorage have studios? I might get on site housing with the job but if not anyone have studio apartment advice?

Wrong. I did it and was prepared for it, unlike you.

Nope. Stopped in Seattle and placed our vehicle on a barge. For three years we survived in the "real" Alaska without a car.

Kind of hard to drive to Alaska when your location is off the road. So technically we could have driven to Alaska to place on a barge to get the vehicle to our village, but the barge fee was the same to barge from Seattle.

Now, if I had to drive up in the winter, I wouldn't drive up in a Prius. There is a difference between having big balls (or being brave) and being stupid. The size of one's balls really has no correlation to anything realistically applicable here.

Don't be a statistic.

It's funny that a weekend warrior who drives a Prius is trying to challenge our manhood/womanhoods...

I hope you come up here and are successful. I just don't want you to become a statistic.
