Ex-head of behavioral science at MeritCare in Fargo gets 120 days for window peeping | INFORUM | Fargo, ND

Who can tell me exactly what "Behavioral Science" encompasses? If it is what I think it is - this story goes to show that sometimes the inmates are in charge of the asylum.

Quote from the article:

"B.J. Berg discovered Paul outside Berg’s home at 11:30 p.m. on June 14, 2011, wearing a black ski mask, tan shirt and jeans while peering into a bedroom window. When Berg confronted him, Paul said something about trying to find his dogs.
Berg told him, “Not at my daughter’s window, you’re not,” and told him to get off his property.
Berg followed Paul to his home and called the police, who searched Paul’s home and found night vision goggles, a ski mask, clothing and a loaded handgun. Paul admitted to police he had a firearm on his hip while outside Berg’s home."

Yep - a real winner .

This is a pretty lame sentence, basically sounds like he may serve about nothing. He's damn lucky that the guy that caught him peeping in his juvenile daughters bedroom let him leave his property in one piece, some father's wouldn't have had such self control under those circumstances.

Behavior Health could encompass substance abuse counseling, anger management and psychotherapy services. He apparently had some kind of addiction problem himself. As he had a gun on him when confronted it could have become a deadly situation, lucky dad remained cool. I would think just the fact he was lurking outside the girls window and armed would warrant more than a slap on the wrist. Looking in windows but why the need for the gun, maybe he thought about abducting her. I guess he had a good lawyer, though it has still ruined his career and he now has a felony on his record. Really true though, there are very few people one can trust today.
