My husband I have been staying at Fargo Inn And Suites for about a two years. They are kicking out all of their long term guests and also gave kind of a short notice. By June 1 we have to move out. We don't have a car but I am employed. We are still new here to Fargo and I have no idea what kind of apartments are out there or weekly/monthly hotels but I have been looking. The problem is its hard to come up with deposit money and all that for a new place as you are still paying weekly at a hotel. Does anyone know of a place that is relatively easy to get into either shorter term (pay weekly or monthly) or long term (Cheaper move in Apt)? I can come up with about 1400 to move someplace but thats about it. After that I am sure that anything would be cheaper than the 1300 month I am paying now. Any help would be appreciated as we are kind of freaking out and dont want to continue bouncing around hotels on booking.com or something, or be homeless. Thank you !

Woodbridge is $1566 / month if paid in advance. Bison Inn daily rate of $44. That would be $1320 per month. Assume that includes taxes but check. Don't know if they have a monthly rate. Ask. Call places and make them an offer. They may no but won't know unless you try. Some places / managers may be able to bargain. Some not.

Fargo craigslist has 144 rental listings under $1400. Some as low as $500-$700. Only deal in person and be cautious. Most will be for 6 to 12 month leases but read em all and see if any are monthly. Ask politely. Some people can win exceptions if make good effort (probably on many tries).

If the deposit is an issue, ask if you can split it over 2-4 months. Somebody might say yes, depending on various factors. Like signing that day and not looking like / checking out as a trouble case.

Work it hard, starting now.

I think you meant Woodspring not Woodbridge. Anyway, I have been searching what I can find through google search and craigslist. I was simply hoping maybe a local knew a name that I cant see, isnt listed or could relate personal experience having stayed in them. Especially ones that have weekly/monthly rates that arent astronomical for the area. Thanks though, I really appreciate it.
