Okay,I am looking for some input can't figure out to go to Fargo,FC. need to relocate out of the south had enough Fargo is in our pricerange an va hospital is there,FC.is expensive.Just want to do what is best for my family we have a twenty yr. son who is willing to go with mom an dad just want this to be a good move so any input would be nice not looking for utopia, but I am looking at where we can take walks an not have to look over my shoulder,an our son can drive his car without worry, when he gets another job I picked the two because ND has little crime, cold winters an FC. because I was born Colorado Springs an I have no clue what it is like now there is good people who don't judge you on your race, so far my husband has been called somian,my son looks indian an I look spanish an we are none of those anyway open to opions from FC.or Fargo.

I guess I'm not sure what or how to answer. I'm not sure I understand what you are asking.
What is the FC you are referring to?

okay, we have been in the south that is where my husband is from an now that he is wheelchair bound(disabled vet.) he is not able to take care of his family like befor,I am not from here an we have had our run of the mill of this place loss of jobs, cars, homes etc. not by choice (commonwealth state) where they make there own laws an inforce them, anyway we just want to be able to be in a good neighborhood where we can walk, enjoy life an not make it to boreing be cause we have a twenty yr. son who is willing to go with mom an dad, he is a great guy just starting out an would like for him to meet some nice people because I know that there is other places that don't make a difference in your color ( idea:my husband told he looks somian,my son told he looks indian,an I was told I look spanish go figure) no we are not any these races however yes we have idian in us, I was born FortCollins a armychild an color was never a problem not saying it is not out there, but I see MORE interacial couples now than ever, its funny your either not white or black or you have to have another color mixed in,ANYWAY I picked Fargo,ND. because crime was low an in our pricerange,an FortCollins,Colorado because of the nice orignal coloradians an wanted something better for our son,the southern part that we are now I don't even want to go there!!!Just that I know there are good people in the world who are not like this, yes we fit in because hell nobody knows what color we are an Im tired of being asked what is your nationality.

I haven't been in Fort Collins in about 20 years, so I can't speak much to how things are there now (but I hear it has really grown a lot).
Fargo is a pretty safe town, that is for certain. As far as the race thing goes, Fargo is very white. The region was predominantly settled by Scandinavians and Germans, so I can imagine that you'd most likely get asked about race or nationality at some point. There isn't a bunch of overt racism per se, but probably more of a general curiosity.

First off, I would like to thank your husband for his service.
Color of skin, interacial, etc, just don't cut it. Are you a good neighbor? That's what counts. I could give a rats ass what your ancestry is as long as you will fit in with me and mine. We don't expect much, just a good neighbor. We'll shovel your walk if your down and out, but expect the same if we're down and out.
By your post I would love to have you as a neighbor. I am a disabled VET and can really relate. Confined to a walker but that don't hurt my fishing any.hahaha
Tell you son to get a job. He can help at home but needs to get a living.
Don't let color fool you. I don't care what color you are. Could care less. But I do mind whether if you are a good neighbor or not.
Fair winds.
