1. Waterproof mascara (and not a lot of makeup).
2. Wear a hat (this kind of day, it's okay to have a bad hair day).
3. Wear pants or jeans (not a good idea to wear a dress, skirt, or shorts).
4. A sweater (just in case it does get cooler).
Adding to the list:
5: Mineral makeup- Does not run it just melts in and looks great
6: Style creams and soft hydrating sprays for curls, nothing heavy hold
7: back-up mini purse sized umbrella to the huge one.
8: wear skirts over pants, legs/hose dry fast and don't get dirty like pants
Women and shoes don't make any sense to me. "I have to match them to the outfit." Just crazy.
Women's clothes come in a variety of colors, and wearing black shoes with every outfit can look ridiculous if there's no black in the outfit to match. Men generally don't have every color of the rainbow to choose from when it comes to suits/formal wear so a pair of black shoes would make more sense.
Also, most Podiatrists will tell you that you should own more than one or two pairs of shoes as it is healthy to switch off from one to the next and not wear the same pair for days in a row.

I was just going to make the same comment.
You'll pry my 80 some odd pairs of shoes from my cold, dead hands, lol!

Great minds think alike!
I have boxes under my bed to store all my extra shoes that don't fit in my walk in closet! I should go and count how many I have but it might be embarrassing!
