The closet I got to nude sunbathing was when I used to wear thong type string bikinis. It was a great tan too (very minimal tan lines), but I'm not as thin as I was then. So, I just wear regular type bikinis now.
But no, I never did any real nude sunbathing and I wouldn't anyway. Who cares?
I cant believe how uptight Americans are about public nudity. Where I come from in Europe its so common most people find it to be no big deal. By the way, the U.S. is the worlds leader in pedophelia and sex crimes. Europe, comparetively, ranks very low in these kind of crimes. Hmmm, go figure.
worlds leader? where do you get that figure? does it take into account what each country COUNTS as a sex crime? does it take into account 3rd world nations?
Been to two nudist campgrounds and one nude beach in Greece. Let's just say that people of all ages, shapes, and sizes go nude. After the first few minutes, the initial shock wears off and then it's no big deal. You can't just "go nude sunbathing". You have to work up to it. Knew a lady who wanted to try it. She had nice bikini tan lines. She burned her breast and nipples. Use proper precautions. If going to a nudist resort of some type, bring a spare towel for sitting on.
Tried some nude sunbathing on a public NYC beach many years ago, wasn't received very well by NY's finest. Most of the other beach goers didn't seem to mind one way or the other. Today it's fairly common to see someone in the buff on a NYC beach (Rockaway) because there are a lot of Southern European's living there and they are accustomed to nudity on the beach. Not sure if the cops are enforcing it, but last time I went (two years ago) it was fairly common and no one blinked. Unfortunately you have to take the good with the bad...hot Euro-girls running around topless alongside elderly and overweight free spirits who have fallen victim to gravity.
with the weather being as hot as it is, i've recently found myself sunbathing in the nude in my backyard around once a week or so. i like it because i save money on not going to a tanning salon, but i make sure to take precaution and not lie out in the sun for too long.
Any sunbathing, nude or in a bathing suit, is just a way of begging to get skin cancer. "Tanning" is the stupidest thing people have been brainwashed into believing is somehow a good thing to do.
Everything in moderation, it's no worse than stuffing your face with McDonald's every day. Twenty to thirty minutes of sunshine each day is good for you.
