I can't get my nails to grow. They are weak and brittle. Any miracle product out there that I can use?

I don't know of any miracle product , but I have noticed that when I take my vitamens/supplements, my nails & hair seem to be in better condition. Do you take an Omega 3 or any fish oil tablets?

No I don't take fish oil and I never eat any fish except for tuna once in a while.

Get your bloodwork done. You may have iron or other blood deficiency. Brittle nails is usually a sign of you not getting enough iron, B12, vitamin E, vitamin D etc...
There is no miracle product but a good supplement and a good diet that can help your nail conditions.

Yes I do have anemia. I didn't realize it could prevent my nails from growing. I always used to have beautiful nails. They started turning brittle around 7 years ago.

Get a good treatment from a nail salon or spa. Get your nails wrapped or manicure and keep it up.

Lots of biotin. I use Andrew Lessman's Hair, Skin, and Nails.

The best thing I ever used was Barielle. It is a cream in a jar that I put on once a day - just rub into nails. It has helped my weak, splitting nails tremendously.

The best product I have found for nails is called NutraNail Mineral Nail care. I believe it s available in many drugstores/retail stores. It is a clear, glossy "polish" that protects the nails from breaking/splitting while growing out. Admittedly, you have to put it on every day..then remove the layers once a week and start over.

It is the only product I have found over the counter that has allowed me to grow reasonably long nails without any problem. Also, I like the look of a clear, glossy polish on my hands. Of course you can also put a colored polish over this stuff, but I think its better to keep it simple til the nails grow to the length you want.
