Eyebrows: Thick vs. Thin (blond, medium, wax, salon)

Hey ladies!!

So I was in the process of growing my brows out. They are super thick & bushy & I wanted to get them done today. I went to the nail salon & I told the lady "thick & long, w/ a slight arch. My brows are usually shaped lind of like Kate Winslet's

But anyways, I was lying on the chair for like 15 minutes & the lady pretty much waxed my brows off. I am soooo sad. Thankfully, my brows grow pretty quickly but I'm just upset that they could have been waxed perfectly & now they are like thin half-moons

Anyway, the original question: how do u like to wear your brows? Thick or thin?

I used to wear mine ridiculously thin - I call them drag queen thin because they were pretty much drawn on. I have tried to grow them out as much as I could over the past few years but the right parts don't grow back and I end up having to pluck them thin-ish again. I always shade them in to make them look as thick as possible!

Once my stupid esthetician went and waxed off the ends of my eyebrows. They have never grown back quite the same.Hopefully yours will grow back in. I don't like them too thick or too thin somewhere in between.

I like a good thick arched brow a la Audrey Hepburn. Unfortunately mine aren't that thick, but I shade them in and do a little tweezing. Never had mine waxed, I barely even have to tweeze.

Do not like thin brows!

I wouldn't worry too much, yours will probably grow back, but I wouldn't go back to the same person.

I used to have thick eyebrows that I had waxed and tweezed to a less unruly medium and never ever had to use an eyebrow pencil.

Now, thanks to my thryoid, I've lost much of the lower third of my brows, so I've made the rest a bit thinner and have to enhance them with pencil as well.

As a post-menopausal woman, I often wonder if some of my eyebrow hairs have migrated to under my chin. :-)

I've always worn mine totally naturally...guess I was just blessed with naturally well-shaped brows. They don't really require any grooming.

I don't get to decide. This is how they grow:


All I can do is tweeze the strays that grow below and try to maintain an arch, and try to clean up the blond fuzzies that grow above. My brows don't grow any thicker than this. I use MAC "Cork" eyeshadow on an angled brush to fill in my brows and make them look more defined.

I like my brows medium - with a definite arch. That's why I do them myself (and cheaper).
