Women only, how many swimsuits do you own? What types? Do you buy a new suit every season or hang on 'til the lyrca is shot? Just curious what the average is, on this board anyway.

I have 9 bikinis. Don't own a one-piece; they're restrictive and the fit is tricky. I'd rather wear comfortable board shorts and a t-shirt. Ah, my men's board shorts....make that 10 swimsuits. I travel a lot and I tend to bring a few on trips for the variety. A few are for surfing or swimming laps. I no longer live near the ocean and now find that I own too many. I won't purchase another for a few years.

I own two, and they're both bikinis. One is navy blue and colourful, and great for tanning. The other is black and silver, which is nice for just going out to a pool or whatever. I don't go to the beach often (and I'm not a fan of fresh water, except for springs), so I hold on to them for quite a while. I've had the black/silver one for a couple of years now.

I own 1.. and for the past 3 years (due to lack of travel & fun).... Im just now taking the tags off. I have extremely large boobs so I had to get a 2 piece in 2 different sizes. If I can't mix & match a bathing suit .. I would never buy one.

zero I just dont understand why some people are so crazy about swimsuits or pools or the ocean for that matter . I think it has alot to do with the way I was raised and we were not allowed to have swimsuits or go swimming . My mothers father was a minister and he did not like women and girls showing their bodys like that . So she was raised not being allowed to have one and she raised us the same way. So I dont own one.

One swimsuit, a tankini. I'll wear it for as long as it fits and looks good, but I'll probably get a second one next summer in a different style.

That sounds awful. I've been swimming as long as I can remember.

I have just one, and it's a one piece competition suit made by speedo. I don't do bikinis (giant boobs and a rather large scar on my stomach...it makes me a little uncomfortable showing off that much skin) but I do swim for exercise, hence the speedo.

6-10

1 tankini, the rest bikinis. Some not suitable to be worn in front of children. I take full advantage of the VS semi annual sale.
