I was wondering what the women on this forum think about cowboys? I can't wear Wranglers, cowboy shirts and boots every day because of my work, but on Fridays, I always cowboy up and I think a lot of women at least here in this redneck state like it

I have been travelling a lot to Oklahoma lately and I can tell a LOT of women there like cowboys. I was wondering what people in THE most urbanized states like NY, MA, CT, NJ, MD think of cowboys

PA, Upstate NY = you can probably pull it off and not get too many stares

NJ, NYC, New England except far northern Maine = expect to get lots of stares and you might be considered a redneck

just being honest. But who cares- if you like it, do it!

I reside in Ohio and I've never seen a cowboy.

I do have a cowboy hat, actually. Well, more of a western straw hat. I wear it to the beach to block the sun from my eyes.

Id guess you would be laughed at.
I trail ride and have 3 horses and I dont like the cowboy look ( tight jeans, cowboy boots, big belt buckle and big hat). Especially (like Westwillow said) if you not a real cowboy. If your going to dress like one, I expect you can ride and round up cattle.
