Absolutely not. I'm probably going back to work in a public setting and I hate the thought of makeup every day. Do I look MUCH better? Yes, but the contacts always get polluted by the end of the day with makeup, and seeing isn't optional.
I wear it every day,
Fix my hair every day,
Shower every day,
Just a routine I guess.
I do too. I have to or I just don't feel right!
That being said, I'm more about the natural look. I don't apply heavy makeup and have NEVER worn foundation. I really don't need it, I have good skin so why waste the money on it? I use some powder, a good color of eyeshaddow that compliments me, a nice blush that doesn't just POP out at you, liner, mascara and a lipstick so my lips don't blend in with my face!
I always keep it professional and really it only takes me about 5 minutes to do, so it's worth the time.
I usually don't wear much during the day in the summer if I'm going to be by the pool and will throw some on at night. In the winter if we are staying home due to snow I'll throw on some powder and mascara and call it a day!
If not going out I dont wear makeup but its very rare that I dont need to go out, more so on the weekends than the weekdays. I have tinted moisturizer that I wear as foundation, I almost never wear full blown foundation, so the tinted moisturizer, lip gloss and mascara takes a total of 2.2minutes to put on lol. Now, blowing my hair out almost daily, thats another story, but I''ve got it down to 20-30 minutes or so.
The only make up I own is mascara and chapstick! I think I look pretty damn good without putting stuff on my skin.
That's me. Around here, it's more unusual to see women wearing makeup than not. I know very few women who wear it - one had moved from the south and would never been seen without the full face done.
It's funny what people are used to in different parts of the country. Her husband was so used to seeing women with a ton of makeup on, that he couldn't understand the "lack" of it here....
Personally, I think most women look younger without it.

Absolutely! I don't have to, but I enjoy being a woman and my routine. I wash my face & body, exfoliate, tone, style my hair and wear makeup. I also do my regular spa routine. I take care of my skin, it is beautiful and makeup is fun.
I almost always wear make up. It's just that on weekends, I might put it on later in the day than I do Monday thru Friday.
However, I'm basically a wash and go kind of girl when it comes to my hair. Happily, my hair is wavy/curly and almost always looks decent once it's brushed.
