I voted higher as I feel most comfortable in them, but I don't really have a problem with lower heels...as long as there's a heel! (Even my flip-flops have a wedge. )
If "flat" was an option that is what I would have chosen. I hate heels.
P.S. I should add that many heels are very painful for me due to wide feet and some other orthopedic problems that I don't even recall the names of. Doc told me "no heels" and I follow that advice 95% of the time....and pay and pay for the 5% of the time when I don't!
I love heels and wear them as often as I can, but I am lucky if I can actually wear them (due to our weather) more than five months a year. I love any kind of heels actually....
I have always loathed high heels as I find them incredibly uncomfortable. I love Ballet Flats and have a whole collection of them. Considering I am fairly tall as well I would end up looking like a man in drag with heels... And they eventually ruin your feet .
The vast majority of women I see have no idea how to walk on them and sort of teeter rather than walk. They do make your legs look better and more toned though.
The highest heels I ever had I think were about 3cms...

I don't find heels uncomfortable (neither do I think they're particularly pleasant to wear or to even look at -at least on me-), but I'm rather tall too (6') and I have no interest whatsoever in being any taller for any amount of time. And yes, I love my actual height.
I am also 6' and love to wear up to a 3" heel. I have two pairs of 4" heels, but they are difficult to walk in without taking little steps. I also prefer a thicker heel to a stiletto. A 3" wedge with arch support is perfect, or some sleek ankle boots with a chunky heel.
I can remember, when I was little, watching my mother do housework wearing stiletto heels. I still can't figure out how she managed to even walk in those torture devices.
Personally,it's thong sandals in the summer and athletic shoes or boots in the winter. As a result my tootsies are in far better shape than Mom's were.
Depends on what type of shoe and what type of heel it has. I can't walk in pointed spikes since I lack this thing called balance. If they're chunky heels, I prefer a little higher than three inches. Personally, I would rather wear platform boots than heels.
