When I was people watching at the airport recently, I noticed that the overwhelming majority of women, even older women were wearing pants. Do pants feel more comfortable than skirts? Why don't more women wear skirts? Is it a matter of staying warm?
I'm just curious but why should women wear skirts?? Shouldn't we be allowed to wear what is comfortable??
I wear a lot of skirts and dresses but never in an airport anymore. Why you ask? Because with the new "enhanced" screening by TSA, females are more likely to be targeted for the "enhanced pat down" when wearing a skirt. Almost every time I have worn one in recent months I seem to get flagged for extra TSA attention. I was talking with another female frequent flier and she noticed the same thing. Maybe there is some sort of "contraband in the skirt" national security threat?
To be fair to the men-folk, though, they are a lot more chivalrous when we wear skirts and dress modestly. I get treated with a lot more respect when I dress and carry myself as a lady.
Thats not chivalry.
Excuse me, are you glad to see me or is that chivalry in you pocket?
It's because women no longer desire to be feminine. It's a tragedy.
Children starving is a tragedy. Major oil spills are a tragedy. Natural disasters that leave people dead and families torn asunder are tragedies. Women wearing pants? Not so much.
Nothing is sexier than a pretty woman wearing a flimsy little summer dress. Bare legs, no stockings.
Unfortunately, very few women these days have the legs and/or confidence to do this.
Pants hide the cottage cheese.
