I've got a co worker who always wear high heels (higher than 2 inches) and she just had a baby. She was told by her doctor to switch to flats because of her pregnancy. She was having some back issues, I believe.

I think during pregnancy , if doctor advised her to swich to flats then she have to wear flats , if she don't want , then she can use slight small heels or wedge heels ,this will be comfortable for her.

I love seeing women wear heels, they are the sexiest thing ever. I am short and have no insecurities whatsoever if a woman towers over me.

It seems back in the day when women wore heels all the time they didn't think or care if it made them taller than many men..it was a non-issue. In this era where heels are more rare it seems women are much more conscious of height, One woman I know took her heels off when she took a picture of me so I would be taller, I didn't like that at all.

Absolutely, and I'm LOVING it! I bought the cutest pair of 4-1/2" espadrille strappy wedges that are red with white polka dots. Absolutely adorable

Of course, I'm close to 6'6 in them but I've only had a few complaints so far. Actually, I had a guy last weekend tell me I was cute, but he wouldn't go out with a girl if he couldn't rest his chin on the top of her head while standing up. I gave him a kiss on the cheek and said 'your loss'. According to a mutual friend he is regretting his decision

I find I avoid heels for going out for comfort reasons, but also because I think people look at me and go "oh, she's just impressively tall because she's in heels." I enjoy seeing people look up, look down to realize I'm in flats, then look up again. Especially when it's one of those 5'8 chicks who is so used to being the tallest gal around.
