I think most girls would find this: http://soci313bourdieu.webs.com/male-body.jpeg a good balance between muscular and cut, but not steroid looking. I know alot of girls like the "V" lines where the legs and the hips connect on a guy.

Oooh, yummy--at the least the upper body. I don't care about the V so much, and I don't like the look of wearing your pants so low-slung either.

I think leaner people are attractive so I think that looks good unless its unhealthy looking. Unhealthy looking would be emaciated or obvious drug induced muscle mass (over inflated looking).

oh, but the V is so glorious!
I do like fit/athletic bodies (not the overly muscular, inflated ones resulting from a lot of weight lifting, though), but the least noticeable the veins are, the better. Bulging veins are a side effect that I don't care for.

I dont work out but my job is difficult. Sigh, another strike against me outside of being "damaged goods" after a bad divorce. That's depressing. Would you ladies say you could look past this if you met someone and they otherwise were someone you were or would be interested in?

I can't speak for other women but I can look past almost anything (apart from bad personal hygiene) if the personality is right. A guy who is funny, loyal , sweet, intellectually challenging and interesting to me can be incredibly sexy and a good catch if he has the right moral and intellectual attributes.
Chemistry is a funny thing and sometimes it works on a level we ourselves do not always understand.
I dated a guy before I met Hubby who was anything but classically attractive but he was so, so incredibly sexy and attractive to me. Some girls I knew thought I was mad but he had that little something which is often so elusive in people which drove me wild !
And I have seen so many blokes some women drool over that do absolutely nothing for me.... Nada, Zip, Zilch, Rien ....

I agree with you as usual! I would add some unhealthy habits to the no-no, but other than that...

Yes, I love the "V" as well. *sighs dreamily* Actually, I think that guy had a great body. It looked normal healthy to me, not like gym jock's at all. I know guys who naturally have 6 packs without going to the gym, just by living healthy and exercising by walking around and playing sports for fun. Veins are cute on a guy's arms if it is one or two of them that peek out only when he is actively flexing them. If I see a million of them and his arms are at rest...

What's creepy is how skin looks when the person is just pudgy enough that you can't see any blood vessels under their skin.
Give me veins any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
