Do you like the Gap? When you go to the Gap do you like the salespeople to help you out or leave you alone? Tell me what you like and what you don't like

No, I don't like the Gap. The clothes are ugly, and I was unaware they even employ salespeople. Or if they are called salespeople, I suppose it is like the person who gets you a size of shoe, but couldn't tell you anything about the product.

In general, I prefer to browse before I talk to salespeople.

Well, I don't buy clothes, as I employ a few gnomes to make and tailor my clothing.

I honestly haven't gotten clothes from the G A P since I was like 10, but I would really like to start shopping there again.

I'm going for the whole "preppy" look, and G A P has some preppyish clothes.

Yes, I am a FAN of GAP both for men and women. I would normally pick up stuffs from the store by myself. I think they would know if you know what you want then but whenever I would initiate to ask their opinion right from the start, they would help me in deciding.

At one time I liked the clothes from the Gap... but lately haven't been able to find things I like....

I think that some of the items are overpriced for the quality.

Their clothes are good - not great -but actually better quality than Banana Republic - their higher end - I like their tops and sweaters are ok. I never pay full price though.
