Only beautifully *maintained*..... the study makes sense scientifically.....perimenopause begins in the late 30s which leads quickly to progesterone decline. This in turn causes estrogen receptors to get rusty. Less than perfect estrogen= loss of looks. Women hide it with hrt, face lifts, skincare, diet, exercise.....the smart ones do anyway.

Wow, I've never had that attitude. Eventually Americans will wake up to the fact that beauty is a *health* issue. The loss of looks at midlife is actually related to the loss of health due to perimenopause. Taking care of the physical body is a responsibility.....I am much more health conscious since I turned 35 that's for sure.

LOL, no gray hair here either.
And I disagree with whomever said that it's a health issue.
If you are exercising, drinking fluids, watching diet...etc and you get wrinkles then it's just the natural aging process. Kind of like some women get stretch marks and some don't...some women are more prone to wrinkling than others.

It's a combination. Good genes will enhance good health and vice versa. All the good genes in the world, will not mask poor health and hard living (excessive food, alcohol, smoking and sun).
Gray hair is mostly genetic...I started graying at 18. My father was completely gray well before he was 40.
OMG, everyone loses their looks by 35. These "studies" just reinforce the obsession with youth.
The good news it that there is a solution: Ladies, when a man asks how old you are, just tell him your 34; no matter how old or attractive you are, he will be attracted to you b/c he's been indoctrinated by studies such as these to believe that women over 35 are not attractive.
