Diana hands down-beauty is not only physical-she had to endure horrible situations...and she had no self confidence..she came out of the crap Charles did to her with grace and elegance. Diana seemed to have a heart of gold and to me that is beauty-Diana will always be missed

Diana was more beautiful and fashionable, I think, but Kate holds her own nicely. She always looks great in pictures, very pretty and ladylike.

Diana was only more beautiful and fashionable LATER. Early on she had her share of awkward and frumpy moments.

The jury is still out as to what sort of style Kate will grow into. I do think she has been better groomed and is much more aware of what is required of her position than Diana was. She is also quite a bit more mature.

Just like Will..... I'm fond of both of them.

Indeed. The British royal family was totally German for nearly two hundred years.

Agreed. I've been in the Abbey. It is a very solemn place. As you enter (even when just taking the tour) there are people there to remind you it is a house of worship. The Tomb of the Unknown Warrior is just a few feet from the main entrance. (It's beneath the large black marble tombstone in the floor that the red carpet went around.) A sleeveless gown would have been totally inappropriate.

I think we'd all get nervous and loose weight if we knew 2 billion people were going to be watching us get married. (I only had 150 people to worry about and I lost 10 pounds from the first fitting to the last.) She probably didn't have much of an appetite the past few weeks.

I have every confidence that once she gets into her new life as the Duchess of Cambridge she's going to be a real stunner!
