With little or no local options (DSW, Clarks, Nine West, Payless), you really can't go wrong with Zappos. I was hesitant at first but they have such an amazing selection. It's free shipping, free returns so give it a try. Never pay for expedited shipping. After the first few purchases I started getting my shoes next day. One of my favorite brands is Softt (Naturalizer is close second). I have about 20 pairs.
Nordstroms Rack has half yearly sales on larger size shoes. I also buy from Zappos. I have size 11-12 feet. You can sometimes find larger shoes at DSW.
I was running through Ross the other day and noticed an wall of women's 10-12 shoes, not sure if they were wides, but if there is one close by it might be worth a look.
It seems to me that you scour your closet for the brands you like and shop online at Zappos or Amazon. That way you KNOW they will fit, because you have experience. And it is not that big a hassle to send them back and get credit if they don't fit. Easy Breezy.
Thanks again, everyone! I had no idea there were so many options for my huge feet! LOL!!!!
