I don't think you can call those a "trend," since they've been around for thousands of years... not to mention, you can't exactly toss tattoos if you're over them. I do have to wonder, though, why they come up in like EVERY discussion on this forum! I guess I'm not used to that attitude, living in a place (Bay Area) where they're generally accepted by people from all walks of life - but geez, it's hard to imagine being judged every day by people like you. Guess that's why I live here, LOL.
You can call it a trend. Even if they have been around forever, before 1990 or so you could walk around all day and not see a single person who was tattooed. You would have to go out of your way and socialize with bikers and criminals to find anyone with a tattoo..what a utopia it was.
Besides tattoos the other fashion trend I would like to see go away are women who wear sweat pants, sneakers, and no makeup when out in public.
Love to see women in a nice pair of high heel shoes but high heel shoes with platforms is the absolute worst!! They're way too high, too tacky and too clunky looking. They remind me of shoes prostitutes and strippers wear and most women can't walk in them.

That's so funny, why would a woman want to look like a cheap hooker?

How about those sandals that women where that look like bricks under their feet, they're just square blocks with a strap attached, I don't know what they're called but they're so ugly looking. Also womens clothing that have words like "juicy" or anything that says princess.
Skinny jeans really are ugly.
The Pink, Orange , blue or copper what ever people put in their hair is just tacky.
what is going on with the tattoo these days, does your whole arm, leg and back have to be covered?
Body Piercings in your nose and tongue.
Does someone really get complimented for this ugly fashion?
Tight Jackets on men Nothing looks as sloppy as a tight jacket that a man wears.
Crocks
Sketchers
shapeup shoes
sandles in general are just ugly , unless your truly going to the beach.
what ever happened to just plain old plastic or rubber beach sandles?
Baggy clothing. Not loose but baggy
A shag haircut or what ever the teen sensation Justin
Bieber has for a hair cut
