Anyone here ever had a favorite lipstick shade, make-up shade, perfume, lotion (or other beauty product) discontinued and you were unable to find something else comparable?

I had a lipstick shade "Mousse" by NYC Cosmetics, a Pink Grapefruit body-butter by Beautilicious, and a Prince Matchabelli fragrance "Prophecy"... i loved & used these for a long time... all are discontinued and have not found anything else to match, or even come close to the original

Do you have a beauty product that is now gone, and you really miss?

Not only a lipstick (can't think of a specific one right now) - but most all cosmetics I love WILL be discontinued!

Nope.
But I don't wear lipstick, foundation, or perfumes, so that explains it!

You can try www.VermontCountryStore.com for the perfume. They manage to find sources for some old ones. Also try their Tangee lipstick. It looks orange in the tube but looks different on everybody. You really have to see their photo! It looks rose on me. Very reputable company, been buying them for years!

Revlon New Complexion liquid foundation (just recently discontinued)
Revlon New Complexion loose powder (discontinued in the early 90s)

Not makeup, but skincare, Naturessence Non-Chemical Skin Peel. I haven't seen it 15+ years. Loved that stuff. They had a number of products that were great and inexpensive.

Yes, it happens now and then. Very annoying.

I totally miss Max Factor lipsticks.

I used to apply my lipstick once in the morning and it would look fresh all day--no matter how much I drank, ate, or kissed. They had tremendous staying power, and did not dry out my lips.
