Absolutely not. Dressing well does NOT mean gay. The gayness is in the accessories and how they try to make a "statement" with the style. Straight guys dont accessorize, gay guys accessorize. THAT is how you can tell.
For example:
Dude walking through the mall wearing $250 Buffalo jeans, Lacoste shirt and Bruno Magli casual shoes - I would NOT think he's gay
Another dude walking through the mall wearing the EXACT same outfit but has his shirt collar popped up, no socks, pants rolled up at the bottom, has a scarf and a man purse - GAY.
Wow, you've got it down to a science haven't you Einstein.
I dress up with complete style all the time. Your idea that somone who dresses nice and with style is "gay", well that is just plainly absurd. A real man takes pride in his appearance.

A smart man realizes that dressing up doesn't make a real man.

Hmm. I agree with you about the murse. However, the cuffed pants and scarves are quite common with the young and fashionable (and a couple of notorious womanizers on my campus). Collar popping...it "works" in a RL catalogue, but not in real life.
Well I don't know about American men but in my culture (I'm Haitian) most of the men dress really well and lean on the classic style in regards to fashion. They usually accompany anything they wear with flashy watches and expensive but really good cologne. Kinda like the 1950s type of style. But more laid back. No one I have ever known is gay. That's just the style. If I had the money, that's how I would dress. But right now, I'm in a bind so I lean on more towards laid back but still classic style. In my own family circle, none of the men do the baggy style and big white tees.
I completely disagree. Just because someone is not dressed well does not mean they are ugly and/or lazy.
Sorry, but in my opinion it does. There are relatively nice clothes for several different budgets thus sloppiness just does not work for me.
We shouldn't have to wear ballgowns and tuxedos 24/7, but I honestly see no reason why someone would go out and about dressed in something that barely resembles pajamas.

That is an extremely judgmental thing to say, shows lack of maturity and understanding.
Excuse me, is there anyone being "extremely judgmental" here?!
arched eyebrows and fake tans, jeans that fit the way girls in high school wore them, excessive gel, using the word "fabulous" etc = gay
