I had it done when I was IN LA at a salon called Pink Cheeks and very happy with the results.
Soo...which are you?

Have you been unhappy with the color of your anus your whole life? Has it caused you humiliation to the point of wanting to bleach it? I'm sorry for your affliction...so sad.

I don't think I've ever taken the time to study mine...I feel so stupid now.

Superchic and glass of merlot...who said it was OKAY to bake themselves in the sun and tanning beds?? Both bleaching and tanning are very dangerous. You see it all over the news/magazines/etc that tanning is SO harmful and to wear sunscreen and avoid it. There is no double standard here. Both are bad but people want what they don't have.

Usually when a dark skinned person wants to bleach his or her skin, people automatically judge them." you should be proud of you color" "why do you want to be pale""light skin is not better"
When a fair skinned person wants to get a tan nobody says anything negative. More like" oh, you look so nice, have you been on vacation! You have a beautiful tan!"

I say something negative. A lot of people do, actually. Just because people on Jersey Shore are orange doesn't those of us who like keeping our skin nice aren't cringing.

Agree, a lot of us make fun of the overly tanned. When I hear someone say something about so-and-so's nice tan, I usually add how so-and-so will look 60 by the time she's 40.
I loved that great Seinfeld episode about the overly tanned woman. It really pointed out the absurdity of tanning.

Yea, the days of thinking a tan is beautiful are over. It ages one very quickly and frankly looks unhealthy.

Not for all.
I have olive skin. I tan easily.
I don't sunbathe or go to tanning beds.

No wrinkles/aging

But olive-skinned people with dark hair and eyes don't look freaky when they are tanned, because it happens naturally. The problem is people with lighter hair and eyes, who are obviously over-tanned. When you have darker skin you have lots more protection built in. Others don't.

There was a group of girls in my highschool that were addicted to tanning. And getting really freakishly permed hair. They looked like they'd been fried. But honestly people...we're all going to die someday...and there are safer ways to tan nowadays.

Hopefully there will also be safer ways to lighten skin for those who feel more attractive with lighter skin.

Personally, I say to each his own.
