I'm 5'1 and had wanted to be taller for years through out my life. When I realized that my height doesn't get in the way of my success (and in some ways even contributed to it), I had finally gave up thinking that I'm in disadvantage and embraced it.

Whenever men say they like tall girls, they assume they're tall and willowy. I just look like a giant.
It took me around 15 years to finally be comfortable in my own skin... And even in my late 20s I still get taunted fairly regularly by strangers. Oddly, I still love my height
