I've never heard of it being used on the face. I have heard it being recommended for under eye puffiness. However, I don't know how it works.

^^True that.

Spread it on your entire face and tell us if it makes any improvements.

Default PREp H

Fashion photographers tell their models to use it under their eyes to reduce puffiness. Too much salt will create puffy eyes, and elevating your head with a few pillows while you sleep will keep puffy eyes at bay.

The prep H thing is an old trick, if you do a search on it in this forum, there are some old threads that cover it extensively.

It does work, but it also makes the skin shiny, and matte is better with puffy eyes. You have to put it on and then wipe later. I prefer chamomille chilled tea bags and a nice eye gel w/ caffeine if I am really puffy.

It's probably useful to keep around, though. BUTT I digress.....

Default Gel w/ caffeine in it

tell me what the gel w/ caffeine is?? Is it something you buy in the makeup section?? I have seen TV commercial for something w/ caffeine for circles under the eyes, which I get a couple of times a month..
is there an inexpensive way to kick that problem to the curb? The circles get pretty dark, almost looks like I got socked.. I got suckered into buying a
$58 tube of "cure" for it at the lancome counter, but of course it was a lot of money for a tube of disappointment.
thanks!

Caffeine applied topically dies nothing for circles under the eyes, its merely the "miracle du jour" that the beauty industry is hyping.

I think when someone suggests putting Prep-H on your face they are saying you are an A@@hole.

It has been suggested for under eye puffiness.

You do NOT want to get it IN your eyes though.
