I am not sure how to post this---but can y'all look at these shoes and tell me if they are too "old"---I do want to wear comfortable shoes with a minimal heel:

Clarks® Leather Slip On, Sixty Delta Comfort Shoe : jcpenney
I like the clarks!

I think a lot of dressing well for your age has to do with being honest about your body type/shape and choosing things that flatter that shape.

Also choosing colors that flatter skintone/hair color.

And checking clothing in a 3-way mirror to see how your backside looks.

I saw a woman who looked to be in her late 40's - mid-50's yesterday who had on these really tight black leggings. I am sure they looked ok from the front, but from the back they were absolutely horrible. They left nothing to the imagination.

I saw a 20 something yesterday with tight black leggings on. She looked to be about 50+ pounds over her ideal weight. It was pretty gross.

Check out Clark's Indigo line if you want comfort AND a bit more style.

Clarks Shoes | Women's Shoes, Men's Shoes and Handbags - Free Returns

I've turned a couple of 20 and 30 somethings onto them as well.

Happy feet are feet that don't hurt. Nothing ages one like pain.

I think Clark's has some other shoes that are cuter, but if you like 'em, wear 'em.

I think hair styles is the number one thing that can detract from a woman's appearance. If you are 40+ years old and still rocking the 80's deluxe hair do and mom jeans, it's time to change it up.

People of all sizes can wear leggings with the right outfit. The number one problem is that some people mistakenly think leggings are pants. Especially the ones that are made of nylon like pantyhose. That's the real problem.

Anyone at any size can use leggings under a tunic, long shirt, long sweater, or dress. I wear my leggings all the time. With a top that comes to mid thigh or so.
