There are many religious groups and orders, that don't think women should wear make-up either...'It leads to pride' and goes against the tenants of their faith...(Amish)(Adventist)(Islam) and other such religious orders...they think it's 'sinful' for women to wear any make up at all...
It is fine... I wear make-up (although I am gay) but make up can make you more man looking or more girly. Just depends on how you are working with make-up.
Men can still wear make-up and look very nice and masculine.
Native American males use to wear make up all the time, Various African tribesmen males always wore make up...Polonesian males tribesmen use to always wear make up...
It's only in this modern pop culture Western civilization where western women are praised, and all others shunned, that males wearing make up seems to be so abnormal...
It's a very self centered feminized culture...were the western female has been put on a pedalstol...and no one else better intrude on that territory or esle, type of mentality...
Sorry, but guys have wore varies forms of make up, facial paint, since the beggining of civilizations...get over it ladies...guys can be beautiful and creative too...
reception is bad right now or i could give you dozens more examples...
I just find it such a shame that in this modern day plastic fake pop culture western world, unless your an anglo woman with blonde hair, your expected to walk around
feeling ugly about yourself...
No one, i repeat no one has a copywright on beauty and creativity...

Men can wear make up, and they do...
Whether its for their job, to hide a blemish.whatever... I wouldn't collapse that with being deviant and gross.
However, if they are straight and wear foundation etc, they will have a hard time finding a woman okay with it. Yes, even in 2011 we still want to be the prettier ones

Thank you so much for that...
Truth is I've never worn make-up in my life...
And the photos I post are just 'art'...simply 'cause I can'...like Andy Warhol....
I don't walk around like that in real life...can't help it if some people are to stupid and shallow minded to realize that....
But to those males who do want to wear make-up...I say go for it...
It's about freedom....some would have us all wearing burkas....
I'm a vet...I wore the uniform...and I fought for the freedom of all...not just bigots...
I love the lightly makeup for the men. it's magical and very fashionable
