I have been going gray for several years but mainly on the sides.
I also have a little bald skull cap going on but still there in the front.
How do most women feel about that or should i just do a buzz cut?

^^^How do YOU feel about your hair/look? You are the only one who should matter.

P.S. I'm not very particular about hair as long as it's well-maintained and not a comb-over!!!

It is so obvious, do what you think it best. Not what you think some women like.
I have been shaved for 7 years now, love it, and if there was a cure for baldness, I would pass.

I was grey and thinning.

Shaved my head over a year ago. I look better and younger. So says the wife and the women at work. Only downside is that no one offers me the senior discount anymore. I can live with that.

Tip: Buy hats and limit your exposure to the sun until your dome is tanned up-couple of three months or so.

Started balding at 18, by 27 I was basically sporting the horseshoe

Shaved my head and never looked back. Grew a beard and no one road rages at me any more

I'll also back what others said above and do what you want, others be damned.

This is up to you. There are guidelines created by certain people that feel some people look better with certain hairstyles, but it is up to you, and your significant other, if you consult him or her for things like that.

Agreed, some don't look 'right' shaved vs a close buzz.

I'm a razor man myself

No reason to shave unless you're thinning and receeding noticably. You haven't posted a pic, so can't tell how bad it is.

If you're caucasian it's harder to pull of the completely shaved look. Buzzing down to a #3, #2 or #1 clipper guard usually looks better IMO especially with gray hair. You could buy some $20 to $30 clippers at Walmart and do it yourself. It's just hair, it will grow back if you dislike the way it looks.
