Hi all,
I received a new pair of Uggs from my stepmom this Christmas that she purchased from Nordstom. The boots are a half size too small. I didn't get a gift receipt in the box and she doesn't have the original receipt. The boots have not been worn...do you think they will let me exchange for a larger size? The store is not very close by so I didn't want to drive all the way there and have them tell me no. Thanks!
Nordstroms official policy on returns is that they have no policy. They review every scenario on a case-by-case basis. However, you will learn through experience that they are very lenient. I suspect that you will have no issue with your exchange. However, I suggest that you call ahead and confirm.
Exchange for the same product in different size is easy; I don't think you would have any problem providing the store's record shows that it did/does carry the shoes.
If you have the box the shoes came in, they mark it when the boots were bought. Nordstrom's will give you the price that was paid. That is why I always shop there. Great service, merchandise and return policy!
There should be a sticker on the box which they can scan. Then they will offer to put it on the gifter's credit card, but I would ask for a gift card instead.
If you don't have the sticker.. they still might take them... Nordstrom's has the most unbelievable customer service.
