ever notice how every time a discussion about mens legs or shorts starts up it always ends up a discussion about being at the gym? not everyone goes to the gym so lets get away from the whole "in your face at the gym" mindset.

It seems it's the gym, or out jogging, where men get the chance to wear short shorts without facing ridicule.

Apparently the fashion police say no.
There's nothing stopping guys. The police won't arrest you or anything. I say more and more guys should just do it. Start getting out the scissors and cutting if you need to lol. Or go to boutiques that sell for gay men who supposedly often flaunt this look (if they exist, I'm not sure you'll be able to find them anyay). As for immature teens who say it's gay, get them to watch some old school films and TV shows with guys ten times the man they are wearing sensible length swim-wear and shorts. I guess James Bond was secretly gay because he wore short shorts?
I've noticed though that the same guys who want to show thigh usually prefer to hide half their calf in a tube sock above their big white sneakers. Nothing in casual wear says "old dude" like that look (except maybe crewneck sweatshirts and elastic ankle cotton sweatpants).
Im surprised nobody has sued that band that sang the "short shorts" song for pain and suffering or something. I mean if wasnt for that song, how would the general public tease or make fun of men wearing shorts?
One thing that needs to end is shorts being labeled "short shorts" just because they are not knee length.
