Nope they aren't. They are mostly like gay or feminazis. Women should dress like women and men like men. Trying to be cool or edgy by dressing like a man is unattractive to most normal red-blooded american men.

Me = sometimes wear heels, sometimes wear flats, sometimes wear boots, sometimes wear sneakers, sometimes wear flip-flops, sometimes go barefoot, sometimes wear hats, sometimes wear makeup, sometimes wear no makeup

Me = sometimes walk around my house alone wearing my pretty heels because they are a well-made work of art and I like looking at them on my feet. I could care less what others think. It's all about me, baby! Maybe that sort of female freedom of expression is really what bothers some men? So glad I am in the U.S. wearing heels out loud instead of having to hide them under some Burqa in the middle east.

p.s. Love all the male posters who see high heels as the fashionable footwear freedom of expression that they are! You know who you are! Buy your ladies nice heels as gifts (love when men do that)! Long live the high heel!
That 'one-dimensional' accusation is a bit ridiculous, frankly. Who says people have to wear everything that is available? There are women who never wear a bra, some never wear a dress, others never wear pants, etc. It's just a matter of individual taste and style...
It's a bit like with music. I personally don't like people who say they are open to every genre out there. They are suspicious to me, I prefer people who clearly prefer a few genres and shun the rest.

You're a wee bit paranoid, dearest. I don't think most people consider a refusal to even try music/clothing/food/etc outside of their comfort zone a positive trait in another human being. Close-mindedness is not exactly a turn on.

That negative interpretation is your view, I see it from the other side. I call it specialization and style. Some people prefer generalists, others specialists...

There's a difference between being a generalist and being close minded. You described a preference for the latter while insulting the former. You have quite a talent for demeaning those who don't conform to your standards in the guise of "expressing your opinion."

Need I mention I don't agree

It is not close-minded if I would not want to be together with a woman who likes, say, metal music as I detest it. It only makes sense to be together with someone who has more or less the same taste, ideals, and wavelength...

You're really not getting this. It is A-Okay to have preferences, everyone does. It's A-Okay to prefer the kind of woman who never wears heels or any other random standard you may have for judging women.

What is not okay is saying that the women you prefer are superior/prettier/more feminine/less phony/less slutty/less fake/less bimbo-esque/more genuine than other women based on truly arbitrary traits like their choice in footwear or music. You can't dismiss the majority of the female population as unworthy without expecting a little backlash.

The majority of women do NOT wear high heels. Of course it is OK for me to say my opinion. And if I thought they are superior or less phony (which I didn't say anyway, I quoted merely what is the standard view in many places outside the West), it would be OK. My opinion doesn't need your or anyone else's approval, that's the good thing about opinions...

I think we've been over this. You are free to hold whatever hateful, misogynistic, small-minded views you wish. Doesn't make them right and pulling out the "it's my opinion" card is just an evasion tactic to avoid confronting reality.

Reality? Reality is some women wear high heels, while most don't.
And like with anything else one does deliberately, actions mean and say something...
