I agree. I think that for the most part, these products are meant more as a preventative measure as opposed to a total regeneration.
I'm lucky in that I have good genetics - my dad is in his mid-50's but aside from the grey hair looks basically the same as he did in his mid-30's - and I'm also an active vegetarian and drink lots of water. Regardless, as a few of my female friends pointed out, I'm fair skinned and live in Socal, so I went ahead and started a skincare regimen. I still look basically the same that I did when I started it, back when I was about 22 (I'm 29 now).
