I must do a lot of walking. But my tennis shoes always wear out within a year or so.

Ive never had a pair that lasted more than that.

I do walk about 3 miles a day on average, though.

Size 14??

I'm a size 11 and 1/2. And I thought that was large...

They usually don't have 11 .5 shoes so I have to go with 12, which usually fit okay, but sometimes traction isnt as good.

Im not a 'shoe' person, everything in my closet are all boots. Lace-ups, thigh-highs (dont say it, Joe!!), Doc's, more Doc's, hiking boots. Oh, I do own ONE pair of those 'converse' high-tops and a pair of those 'catholic schoolgirl' buckle-style shoes but dont wear those too often.

I have a narrow foot and the only tennis shoe that fits me is Easy Spirit in the narrow size.
