That's where you hope the rich people left nice clothes.
Yup! You have to choose your neighborhood wisely.
We have this indie discount store in one of the populat shopping districts. It is a cross between Ross and a consignment store. They get J. Crew cast-offs and high end consignment. You can in there and find a pair of slightly worn Prada shoes for $30. And then racks and racks of J. Crew sweaters from last season for $30.
I don't think anyone should pay less than 100$ for a pair of jeans. I have several jeans that range from $120-300$. I've had most of them for over four years. I'm sure most people with jeans that cost them 20-40$ can't say the same..

I live near outlet malls in Orlando. I can get a $100+ pair of jeans for a great price

Eh...my husband has jeans from Duluth Trading and Costco that he wears when working around the house and they take a lot of abuse and have lasted several years.
I wear $$$ denim because I like the way it looks on me, but I don't think any of it could withstand the abuse my husband's denim takes.

Maybe $100 men's jeans last longer. For the women, the quality is pretty much the same across all price ranges. The only difference is fit.
As someone who likes to get "on trend" jeans. I don't need them to last that long. 1 year is sufficient. After that 1 year or so, they get banished to donate stack or the painting the house stack.
I will say, as much as I love the jegggings trend, those do not seem to last very long.
Brooks Brothers is crazy expensive, but they do make REALLY GOOD clothes and have sales from time to time.
Even if I could afford it, that store is not my style, but the clothes appear to be of somewhat better quality. However, they're still made in China! There's no way in HELL I will pay $400 for Chinese (even if better-looking) junk!

Brooks Brothers is classic American prep style. It's as American as apple pie, but I realize not everyone is going to be into that.
Just because clothes (or anything for that matter) is made in China doesn't mean it's poor. Research has shown that Chinese made products are no less worse than American made products, and buying Chinese made products is good for the US economy. I reccomend doing some research before talking about how Chinese make goods are "junk."
