I wore a wedding ring but after a while I begin to gain weight, so it become too tighten and decided to stop using it.

Since then I no longer use or a type of ring or watch or whatever, to me is more comfortable not carrying anything.

Neither uncomfortable or annoying--for me. I don't mind at all. I don't usually wear rings but I do on occasion. I always wear a watch. Always.

I stopped wearing watches and bracelets when I worked a job with tons of typing. The clicking on my desktop as I type drove me crazy.

I dont care either way, in my line of work we're not supposed to wear jewelery but some jobs too, strongly recommend not to wear rings for good reason. Electrician, construction, roofer, etc. I have a mothers ring and rarely wear it.

I'm a female... i dont really like wearing jewelry. It irritates me.

I do have OCD issues (sensation-type), but they are not severe. I just dont feel the need to wear any of my jewelry anymore, except for pierced earrings and nosering. Even my watch irritates me!

I did wear my wedding ring when i was married... NEVER removed it.

I wore plenty of jewelry, when I was younger but as I've gotten older I just can't stand any of it, not rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, watches, etc. Although claustrophobic is probably too strong a word to use as to how it makes me feel, it's the closest word I can come up with at the moment.

I also can no longer stand turtle necks.

It's so strange but it's also so very true.

Rings can be dangerous. People have had their finger ripped off by their ring getting caught on something.

I really dislike the feeling of not being able to get a ring off my finger. Have had that happen before. Grinding it over the finger joint skeeves me out. I also have heard story's of the bone shaping around the band and stuff too. Also circulation

Feel like it would be distracting and uncomfortable to wear a ring constantly.

Do you mind?
Now that I'm retired I wear as many as 8 rings , mostly 4 rings, at a time. I couldn't wear a ring for 40 yrs in the work place and I'm gonna catch up now!!!

The trick is to make sure that whatever ring you buy will slip over the second knuckle with ease. If not then the ring is to small for you.

Personally it would depend on the ring. I have a few small, thin ones that from time to time I'll put on just as an added accessory but those big ol gaudy ones, yuk.
Most of the jobs Ive had, wearing any ring is out of the question for common sense reasons. No biggie.
