Someone on another thread mentioned Noxema. I haven't heard the brand in AGES! Who even uses it anymore?

It brought to mind another name from the past -- the favorite teacher gift of children everywhere -- Jean Nate'.

Also on a perfume thread someone mentioned L'air du Temps. OMG Is that still around?

For men I've thought of Grey Flannel and Stetson. Talk about blasts from the past.

Any others that come to mind?

I still use noxema and seabreeze.

My mom still has her old bottle of Opium perfume. My dad used to wear Old Spice. I'm not sure if he still has a bottle though.

Cover girl classic compact. My first compact and always a go to still for a setting powder/touch up. Not too light/heavy.. You can always find it everywhere and it won't kill your wallet.

Flex Shampoo It probably wasn't the greatest but it smelled SO pretty... and I still remember the bottles when they were cylindrical rather than the flatter/regular shape they were later...

Do they still make Flex / have it available in the U.S?

A lot of the old vintage beauty supplies can be found at Vermont Country Store:
http://www.vermontcountrystore.com/s...osmetics/10020

I recently got a bottle of "gee your hair smells terrific," famous back it the 70s.

You can also get that Tangee lipstick that's supposed to change colors to match your skin tone.

I LOVE the smells of Old Spice and Jean Nate! They totally bring me back to my childhood when I would give them to my dad and mom for Christmas.

Remember Kissing Potion lip gloss? It tasted so good, we'd keep licking it off and re-applying it, back in grade school.
