You can't have this discussion ever on this board. Either you'll have some woman with huge boobs tell you how silly you are for wanting what she has and how terrible her life is because of them or you'll have a flat chested woman tell you how mentally retarded and how broken of a woman you are just wanting something to get immature shallow men to notice you. Because dammit, that's the ONLY reason a woman would dare get implants.

Like you, I've never heard of a woman getting a BR wanting to go down to AA or A. Its almost always C/D, so wanting to go up to that is worthy of open minded discussion. However, there is no middle ground to be considered here. You must be either a porn star wanting HH cups or you just hang out with the wrong type of guys who don't appreciate what you have to be happy.

Gotcha. Your B was my A. Except mine wasn't even a full A. I'm not knocking you, I was kidding. A little sisterly humor.

I would go as far to say that it's not just this board..it's most of the U.S. in general (Not Sure about Europe, or South America, etc.).

Most women would not get this procedure done. I have plenty of friends with the money to enhance, but that's not the type of people we are. What ever happened to natural beauty?

It's easy to put down the women on city-data, but this conversation would go the same way with majority of other women in the real world.

Also, let's not pretend their is no difference between reductions and boob jobs. Women get reductions for health reasons and to enable them to jog, etc.

Everyone keeps saying average but what exactly is average?

my sisters are ddd and j cups, and I'm a b cup. When I look around,b cup seems to be the average. All this time I was self conscience and at times depressed because I wasn't average. But now it seems I'm average, they were just large.

As someone noted above,I've seen flat chested girls attract guys like magnets and large chested girls who could never get looks. A large chest doesn't automatically mean guys will fall at your feet and a small chest doesn't mean you will be ignored. Hollywood and the media however, have instilled in our heads that a small chest is unattractive. They have done a good job it seems.

Totally understood . Even my very short lived DD cups looked small on me. My GGs actually look very proportional for my height and build.

Men love looking at girls with huge boobs, but I think they're more hesitant to date them. My ex told me I looked 'to much like a porn star' and that it reflected poorly on him.

Some women are acting as if breast augmentation is some sort of extreme procedure. It is not. It is fewer than 2 hours under, 1 or 2 post op hours and you go home. Some women return to work in 3-4 days depending on how they feel. For all the self proclaimed "feminists" on this thread, why are you so concerned with what other women want to do with their bodies and their money? It has to take a particular type of arrogance to imply that you are of stronger mental constitution than anyone who has the money and desire to permanently modify themselves. Using a permanent relaxer doesn't mean I hate myself anymore than wearing braces does. Oh you barely wear makeup? Good for you. I like makeup and wear a full face every day, guess I'm destined for therapy.

I don't understand what other people spend money on, but it's theirs so unless it's illegal or tantamount to direct self-harm I would never stand in that sort of judgment. I would never spend 5K on a bag if it were the last bag on earth. But I accept that other people have different priorities and self-modification does not mean you hate yourself. It's easy to tell other people what they should live with.

I also find it very amusing that some women here feel the need to brag about their chest size, then state that small breasted women should be content with theirs. Again arrogance.

Sili's are super dangerous, huh? Well watch this one get run over by a BMW. Your body is FAR less durable than a silicone gel implant.

You think the person comparing small breasts to being blind or deaf is the more mature, rational one here? That's not an opinion, it's hateful and malicious codswallop. The fact is, you absolutely do not need large breasts for men to find you attractive. It might not hurt, but it's not in the least bit necessary.

I should have read the second part before giving you the least bit of credibility. That "100lbs plus 5" thing just shows how very very little you know about women or body composition or attraction.

You are stating an opinion. Go read about html. I don't really give a hoot what kind of posting style you like, no individual opinion really matters.

First, I didn't come up with that equation, and second, my sample size is fairly large, so I have observed first hand that it is relatively accurate. No heffers need apply.

Quote:"It might not hurt, but it's not in the least bit necessary."

It is called a 'fringe benefit.'. To state another opinion, if a person was not really smart, I wouldn't give her the time of day. But as usual, I digress.

They do them for aesthetic reasons as well, if you've ever heard multiple women rattle off their reasons. Being able to wear sexier clothing and bras and looking less heavy in clothing.

Wow. I better schedule some plastic surgery to fix my out of proportion screwed up body! I am 5'11"...Size A barely B....flat as a board....my body is long and lean...swimmer, runner....and I have no desire for large fake mammory glands on my chest. Why on Earth would anyone even think that is attractive? Bizarre. I love my little bitty...I hardly wear a bra...and yes....men do notice my attractive natural beauty...I have had boyfriends and even been married....despite my "deformity".

Get some self esteem.....you are more than your boob size.

Good for you, your aesthetics are different from others.

Another post ranting about others' self confidence while using language that suggests anything but...so you are happy with your flat chest? Fantastic, good for you. While I've never been flat, however, I wouldn't want to be, but that's not saying anything about you. Again, everyone has their own personal aesthetics. If you like being flat and athletic looking, that's great, if someone else doesn't feel the same way and has the means to alter their appearance, that's also great. I don't understand the need to be so defensive, like someone else's aesthetics are a personal affront to you and your body.

I happen to think a lot of augmented breasts are very attractive. And most augmentations are very conservative.

Since when does wanting augmented chests signal someone's self esteem is wrapped up in their breasts more than permanently altering the texture of your hair suggest that someone's self esteem is wrapped up in their hair???
