I have none. I'm not crazy about them either but I'll tolerate one or two on a guy if it's on his arm or torso and depending on what it is of. I'd rather not see them on women at all but I don't date women so they're not much of a concern to me.

People who think it's their right to comment on other people's preferences:
Major turn off.

As I stated in another tattoo thread, I'm sure some of you have unattractive faces, should we expect you to hide your faces to make our lives happier?

Faces are a natural, genetic and unchangable physical trait from birth. Tattoo's are of total free will choosing. Big difference.

I am not even religious, but I think if God wanted our body to be a canvas, he would have done it himself.

Some people defend tattoos as something of "historical significance" oh well, some tribe somewhere in Papua New Guinea did it 800 years ago, therefore, we need to regress our development as humans and try to emulate some of our most primitive customs and urges

Why so many people have tattoos nowadays? Well, because everybody is doing it, the act of disfiguring a perfect fine body is illogical and serves absolutely no rational purpose.

I don't care if someone has them or not.

Personally, I wouldn't mind a small one near my collar bone and one on my ankle (smaller than a dime), but I'm very indecisive and change my mind too often to put something on my skin permanently.

No, its their constitutional right to excersise their free speech and free thought on anything and everything. Ill bet youve even done it recently as we all do virtually every day . I like vanilla, you like chocholate --- I like old cars from the 1960's, you like them from the 2000's .... until communism comes to the USA it IS our right to pass opinion / discernment / judgement on that which we find distasteful or admirable.

Major equal opportunity.

Its almost equivalent to the puerility of owning a Pet Rock from the early 1980's and having a personal relationship with it, in my opinion ! BUT, if i were forced to have a tattoo , id get one with 'MOM' on it and wear it on my backside where she often paddled me ...lol...

I have seen many tattoos on women that I HATE!

I have seen many that I am neutral about.

But for the life of me, I have NEVER seen one that I LIKE.
