I thought ripped jeans don't last a long time? The Buffalo gobe has couple stiches but not ripped.
Unless you're doing some type of contact sport in them where you slide all over the ground, they should last forever, and they'll probably look better with time.
The problem with that, IMO, is that trendy jeans go out of style quickly, so spending a lot of money on them doesn't make sense because they are out of style before they are worn out. Applies to more than just jeans in fact, so that's why I try to buy stuff that's not overly trendy.
Really? I've never actually worn out a pair of jeans. I eventually get rid of them because I'm tired of them, but they seem to last forever.
I've worn out a couple of pairs of Express jeans in the past. One pair at the top corner of one of the back pockets, the other pair in the groin area where the 4 leg panels all meet.

If you wash them in hot water and high heat, it may not last that long.

I do not care for trend. I like boot cut/bell bottom style and that is 70s.
