Recently I've become addicted to Coke, and I'm trying to kick the habit. In the meantime, I'm attracted to this place that has gigantic cups of Coke for 75 cents.
I went last Saturday and walked to the cashier, and got in line behind this guy. He was wearing sagging pants. Not only that, but the boxers (which were plaid, and I'm sure the guy wasn't Irish or Scottish) were stuck in the crack of his butt. AND they had a hole, to boot. He may as well have been naked, really.
Okay now, I'm no prude, but honestly, I'm not interested in looking at anyone's butt cheeks unless it's a man I'm wild about, and we're in bed.
This "fashion" is just plain rude. And fine, I can see how these men might want women looking at their posterior, but don't these men HATE other men looking at their posterior? Or maybe they like it, I don't know. What's the story here?
Sagging pants & shorts was like a 90's ghetto fab thing that was an outgrowth of hip-hop culture. It's definitely died down in the past 5 or 8 yrs though as tighter-fitting slim & skinny jeans have come into fad, especially among the rocker/skater youth. You still find guys in their late 20's to late 30's saggin though cause they're old school and in their mind, they're a perennial 21 and De La, Wu Tang & Tupac are still goin hard. Delusional i know but everyone has their fashion foibles. The only thing i can suggest is maybe switch your addiction to Frappucino's so you can oggle busty yoga moms in their Lululemon outfits at Charbucks? ha
Fine, but do the wearers of this fashion like showing their @#$$s to other men? They are doing that, you know.

I don't see the issue here. As long as a man isn't exposing his privates, why does it matter if his pants are low? I don't enjoy seeing boxer clad behinds as much as the next person, but I also don't enjoy seeing women wearing small clothes that accentuate rolls, lumpy backsides, and droppy stomachs. I have a relative who wears his pants low outside of work and he is a college grad with a professional career. Most of the time his shirt is covering whatever he's wearing underneath his pants, so it really doesn't offend me at all.

I am a man, and I happen to agree with you, BUT....
Try writing the same article but substituting a woman's cleavage. It really comes off as pretty funny. Why can a woman show boob cleavage, but a man shouldn't show butt cleavage?
There's a big difference. Sagging pants fashion is basically "wear your underwear out on the street" fashion. It's crude, lewd and rude.
Your relative covers his underwear with his shirt, so he's not showing people his underwear, which is fine. However, I do have a question for you, now that you mention this.
Why does your relative bother to expose his underwear, if he's going to cover it with a long shirt? I thought the purpose of the sagging pants fashion was to expose the underwear to (unsuspecting) onlookers and passersby? If he is going to cover his underwear so people don't see it, what's the point of pushing his pants below the underwear, only to cover it up with a different garment?
However, the very reason I posted this thread was hoping to find out if these men that wear the underwear exposed, actually like men looking at their ***** and the flimsy cloth of their boxers cling to the crack of their *****.
I mean, to me it sounds like fashion that would've been far more suited to the gay bathhouses of the Castro District back when it was in its heyday, since there was a lot of body exposure in those places back then.
And yet (correct me if I'm wrong) I understand that the men that wear these sagging pants are NOT gay and not interested in being gay. See, that's what's so weird about this.
